Pressure Relief And Disassembly

No matter what high-voltage equipment is repaired, emptying the remaining pressure is always the first step before you start.

Turn off the machine: Turn off the power or engine of the washer completely.

Pull the trigger: Pinch the trigger of the spray gun tightly to completely remove the residual water pressure held in the tube.

Removing the Water Pipe: Carefully unscrew the water pipe from the pump body and spray gun and lay it flat on a clean, flat work surface.

The Cut Must Be Flat

Select The Right And Install The Repair Connector

Align Specifications: Check your repair kit first to make sure the brass fitting is the same size as the water line, which is generally 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch.

Insert the nut: Insert the slip nut onto both ends of the tube first, paying attention to the thread facing the cutout to be docked.

Insert the barbs: Push the barbs at both ends of the brass connector firmly into the water pipe. If it feels hard, you can soak the pipe mouth with hot water.

Double wrench tightening method: Screw the ferrule nut onto the joint. At this point two wrenches must be used: one to firmly clamp the hexagonal position in the middle of the joint, and the other to tighten the nut firmly. True leak-proofness is achieved by squeezing the outer wall of the tube so that it fits tightly against the internal barbs.

When Can They Be Repaired And When Must They Be Replaced
