How To Operate A Power Washer
To operate a power washer, first, connect the garden hose and turn on the faucet fully, and then start the engine, this is the key to preventing the pump head from burning out. Step 1: Get The Water And Connections

Step 3: Drain Air From The System

Step 5: Master The Cleaning Technique
Whether you can wash out the professional-level effect depends on your movement mode and position.
- Distance and angle: Keep the nozzle approximately 6 to 12 inches (about 15-30cm) from the target surface. Maintain a 45-degree cut-in angle; based on experience, this angle helps the water to “shovel” the dirt away, rather than vertically pressing the dirt into the depths of the material.
- Lancing action: Don’t stare at one point, it will leave a permanent mark. Instead, use a long-range, overlapping strafing action. Let every times of shooting slightly cover the edge of the first time, so as to eliminate the “tiger stripes” or streaks, and the washing effect will be uniform and professional.
